When you’ve been working all week, Monday - Friday 8.30 to 7.00 pm the last thing you want is to be asked to work over the weekend. Of course, you complain, put on a face of complete disgust, and tell your mates how cruel life can be, and how they should be thankful that the building site, factory or office closes Friday evening until Monday.

Of course, you never want your friends to think you have it easier than they do, it’s just something natural that we all want our friends to think we work hard.

So last Saturday I had to “work” and here are some photos to prove likewise. I don’t want my friends thinking I have it easy.

What? There was a race going on? Oh yeah, the America’s Cup, what a coincidence.

Well, after all my writing and posting about the Americas Cup it was only right that I got to see it a little closer. We had a fabulous day, great weather, some good sailing and really enjoyed following the race. We couldn’t get too close so I don’t have many decent photos of the race its self, as there were hundreds of boats trying to follow. Hope you enjoyed the photos.
