New Guest Blogger of the Week Category
Apr 13th, 2007 by Steve Sandells
One of the most important factors of growing your blog apart from lots of content writing is to be able to get people to your site. This can be acheived by many means, advertising, posting in forums or socially interacting. Advertising through sites like Adwords or others works, but can be costly and can take a longtime as you try and find the right keywords. If you have lots of varied content and your blog is interesting with continuous postings then if you can get people to visit your site via socially interacting, the chances are that they will stick around and keep coming back, hence increasing your page rankings.
Today I tried to sign up for ReviewMe, but at the moment I’ve been rejected due to not having enough links to my page or enough traffic. This gave me the idea to try and interact Wotzcool with other sites via a Guest Blogger of the Week category.
I would like to offer the chance to fellow bloggers to write an article to be published on my blog. My idea is that you can write a guest article on my page about whatever you want with links to your page or wherever. The article must be content driven and meaningful, not just a “visit my site” ad. The article will appear on the front page for the whole week. All I ask in return is that you write a small post in your own blog indicating that you have written a guest article on wotZcool and linking to it.
So, what do you think? If you’d like to be a guest blogger then please leave me a message.

Hi Steve-
This is a great idea and something that I have been pushing at WahMedia. With social networking sites like MyBlogLog (and many others) you can find 1000’s of like minded people sharing similar ideas and develop a professional relationship that may eventually benefit everyone involved. This is how I found your blog and subscribed to it, which means MyBlogLog truly works. Commenting on other blogs is also a means of social networking that works if you are truly interested in the topic being discussed and have something to say not just writing a one liner to get clicks to your site. I will be writing a small article about this topic and linking to this post via WahMedia. I would also like the opportunity to be a guest blogger for you.
Hi Steve,
I actually found your blog through a google ad on another blog site, and was intrigued by the idea of being able to write a guest blog on your site. I have some ideas about blog popularity and am working on a future article about these ideas, and would be happy to include an entry about your blog on my site.
Happy Blogging.
Brad D.
You have a great idea. Good luck with your blog.
Hi again! I’d also like to be a guest blogger on your blog, if you would like me to. What do think? I believe we might have a similar target group… All the best, Dania
