A novices quest to learn about creating a Blog and how to make money on the internet!

Welcome to my first weblog posting!
Well, let me explain what I’m trying to acheive here, although the title of this posting says it all.
What put me on this quest was an article I read on a Spanish newspaper website about John Chow dot com and how he has developed his blog and is turning it into a real project making money online. I’ve started researching, looking at other blogs and finding out about different schemes for making money. I havent registered as of yet with any of the different advertising schemes, but shortly I will. First of all though, I want to get my page looking as I want it to, and to get more content on.
I understand the importance of getting visit rates, and that will be my main priority once the page looks OK before sigining up for the ad stuff. I will need to market my page heavily to get visitors and I’ll keep everyone informed of how it goes, of what I try and what works better. As like john Chow, I want to make this a site of public interest as sign from a novices point of view rather that from an experienced internet mogul’s.

Good luck for your new money making blog. I have relatilevy new money making blog too and I have noticed that it is pretty hard to get good visitor rates. At least it takes time to promote your blog everywhere.

good luck with your blog. i think one of the most important things you can do at this point, since your blog is still so new, is to go around to all the other blogs you really like, comment on them (meaningfully), and bookmark the pages you think are really helpful. commenting gets those publishers, as well as other readers to come back to your site. bookmarking helps you stay organized. I read some really great posts when i started and i can’t remember where i saw them… wish i woulda bookmarked em!
