Fun Questions for Blogs !!!

I was having a look through my stats this morning as I had a little free time and decided to have a look at which Keywords were bringing me traffic. Kontera was number one which surprised me, but most of all, the keyword that really got me looking was “Fun Questions” .

I took a further look and realised that whoever came to wotZcool with that keyword actually searched for “Fun Questions for Blogs”, and I am actually listed on page one in seventh place for that search term. It’s the first time I’ve found myself on page one for a search, even though in this case its a keyword phrase I’ve never really thought about nor tried to develop.

I’m not sure how many searches for “Fun Questions for Blogs” are made. Google actually came up with 58.100.000 listings which really suprised me. Keyword stats are something I definately will be studying from now onwards, as they can find you strengths within your blog that you didn’t know existed. I’ll have to make a few “Fun Questions” posts in my blogs and check if I still keep getting traffic. Thats something to develop next week.

Is that something that you have used as what they call an “anchor”.

There are so many things to learn online. Keywords however seem to be extremely important !

I wonder what my best search results are.

Hi Steve,

You are so right, there is so much to learn online.Regarding if I had used “Fun Questions on Blogs” as an anchor text, the answer is no. Anchor text are normally words or phrases with a link attached, like on the ViralTags link scheme, where you make your own Anchor Text and link your blog to it.

I will be looking into Keywords an awful lot more from now on, as they can give you insite into what words you are using and that people are searching for on search engines.
